Thomas Buocz is a legal researcher focusing on technology and innovation law, constitutional law, and legal theory. He studied law at the University of Vienna and completed a semester abroad at the University of Copenhagen during his studies. From 2015 to 2021, he worked in various functions in the team of Professor Iris Eisenberger, first at the University of Vienna, then at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna, and finally at the University of Graz. He also gained practical experience as a legal assistant in the law firm Dr.in Maria Windhager, as a member of the district council of Vienna’s third district and as a trainee in the Federal Chancellery’s Section for Constitutional Law (Verfassungsdienst). He is currently finalising his dissertation in the field of technology and innovation law.
